Scarborough Sports and Community Club is the social home of the Scarborough Amateur Football Club. Originally started in 1970, the team has developed and evolved into a highly successful team.

During the 1990’s, Scarborough was regarded as the power-house club of the WAAFL, playing in 5 consecutive ‘A’ Grade grand finals, winning three, all coached by Gary Armstrong. This included the 1995 flag when they went through the season undefeated. The Club’s two other ‘A’ Grade premierships also came during Armstrong’s reign with 1997 and 1998 being ‘back to back’. The 1995 Premiership is still the only undefeated ‘A’ Grade flag in the last 56 years of the WA Amateur Football League.

The Club has a proud history of mates looking out for each other whilst joining in to play hard; both on and off the field. It is that spirit which has seen the Club grow to become one of the premier clubs in the WAAFL competition, building a proud history of success. They have their own Clubhouse at Millington Reserve, Jeanes Rd, Karrinyup which is known as ‘The Mill’.

In 2016, SAFC fielded 4 senior sides and 1 Colts team and played off in the ‘A’ Grade Grand Final which was a fantastic effort for their 1st year back in the premier league. They are currently coached by ex-Subiaco Captain & Subiaco ‘Diehard’ Aidan Parker who has built a strong culture amongst this group and leads from the front on-field.

New players of all ages and skill level are invited down to have a kick, make some new mates and enjoy Saturday football. For all the latest detail, fixtures and results, click here to visit the Scarborough AFC website or contact Club President Curtis Reddell on 0410 880 436
